Bubba Bodine’s SHOWTIME, released in spring 2026, is a ten-song country-rock album built around scars, memory, bad roads, last chances, and the kind of love that does not leave clean. Across 52 minutes, Bubba sounds like a man walking onto the stage with the whole story already burning behind him.

The album opens with “She Drives A Broken Hallelujah,” a rough-edged statement of purpose: wounded, spiritual, and still moving forward. “She Left The Porch Light On” slows things down into something more cinematic, carrying the ache of home, waiting, and unfinished business. “The Devil Owes Me a Dance” brings swagger and danger, while “The Last Good Summer” looks back with the kind of nostalgia that hurts because it still feels close.

“The Town That Raised Me Wrong” is one of the album’s emotional anchors, turning small-town memory into accusation and confession at the same time. “Two Lanes and a Loaded Sky” pushes the record back onto the highway, full of movement, weather, and escape. The closing track, “Whiskey and the Wind,” stretches nearly six minutes and feels like the last drink, the last drive, and the final word.

SHOWTIME is not a polished pop-country record. It is more raw than that. The songs feel lived-in, road-worn, and built for a stage where the lights are hot and the band is already sweating. Bubba Bodine leans into the voice of a man who has lost things, loved hard, made bad calls, and kept singing anyway.

At its core, SHOWTIME is about what remains after the damage: the porch light, the highway, the hometown, the woman, the whiskey, the wind, and the need to step up to the microphone one more time.
